We are looking for a reliable and motivated Cleaner to join our team at the iconic Talisker Distillery on the beautiful Isle of Skye.
Working on behalf of Sodexo at Diageo, you'll play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for employees, visitors and contractors. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a part-time role with flexible weekday hours in a unique working environment.
As part of a supportive facilities team, you'll help maintain high cleaning standards across the site while contributing to the smooth day-to-day operation of one of Scotland's most recognisable distilleries.
What you'll do
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across offices, welfare facilities, restrooms and communal areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust and sanitise designated areas
- Replenish cleaning supplies and monitor stock levels
- Identify and report cleaning or maintenance issues
- Complete cleaning records and documentation accurately
- Support the wider facilities team with additional tasks when required
- Follow all health, safety and site procedures while delivering excellent customer service
What you'll bring
We're looking for someone who is dependable, organised and takes pride in delivering consistently high standards. You'll be able to work independently, manage your time effectively and contribute positively as part of a team.
Essential requirements
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
- Aged 21 or over (due to site operational requirements)
- Willingness to complete all required training and follow health, safety and site procedures
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- A flexible, reliable and professional approach to work
