About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Subway Manager to lead our busy retail operation at Wythenshawe Hospital. In this role, you’ll take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Subway outlet, ensuring high standards of food quality, customer service, and operational performance. You’ll play a key part in delivering an outstanding experience for patients, visitors, and staff, while maintaining compliance with brand standards and site requirements.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage the Subway store, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations
• Deliver consistently high standards of food preparation and service in line with SUBWAY® brand standards
• Manage staffing, including recruitment, scheduling, training, and performance management
• Monitor financial performance, controlling costs and driving sales growth
• Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
• Build strong relationships with site stakeholders and the wider client team
• Carry out audits and implement action plans to meet KPI and compliance targets
• Support local and national marketing initiatives to maximise revenue

What You Bring

• Proven experience in a fast-paced retail, hospitality, or food service environment
• Previous leadership or management experience, with a track record of developing teams
• Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
• Commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and drive performance
• Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels
• Good IT skills, including working knowledge of systems such as Excel
• A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to thrive under pressure
