Are you a skilled and passionate Chef looking for your next opportunity? Sodexo is looking for a dedicated Chef to join the team at Bulford, Wiltshire. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals, ensuring excellent standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene. You will work as part of a professional catering team, using your culinary expertise to deliver great food and a reliable service every day.

What you’ll do

• Assist with the preparation, cooking, and service of meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene, ensuring full compliance with EHO guidelines
• Work collaboratively with the front-of-house team to deliver outstanding service
• Prepare and serve meals for military personnel, ensuring high standards are maintained every day
• Oversee kitchen cleanliness and sanitation, ensuring best practices are consistently followed
• Support high-profile events and special functions, showcasing your culinary skills and expertise
• Take part in bulk cooking, maintaining consistency, quality, and presentation across all dishes

What you bring

• Previous cook experience within a catering, hospitality, or food service environment, ideally within military or government catering, with a minimum of 5 years’ culinary experience
• Relevant culinary qualifications such as City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ Level 2/3 in Professional Cookery
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards, with IOSH qualification desirable
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-focused environment while maintaining high standards
• Passion for food, excellent attention to detail, and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
