LCV Mechanic

We’re seeking an experienced LGV Mechanic to join a busy and supportive team in Aylesbury. This role is perfect for a skilled technician looking for a hands-on role maintaining and repairing ambulances, cars, vans and electric vehicles to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repair on a variety of HGVs, including trucks, trailers, and other commercial vehicles.

Salary

£28.00 per hour for temp goes to £47,500 when permanent (potential option for overtime)

Working 4 on 4 off – 6:30am to 6pm (so involves working weekends)

Contract

Temp to Perm – 12-week temporary placement with potential to transfer to permanent for the right candidate

What You’ll Be Doing

Carrying out repairs and maintenance on LGV ambulances

Diagnosing faults in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems

Ensuring vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and ready for service

Maintaining accurate records of work carried out

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as an LGV or ambulance mechanic

Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repairs

Attention to detail and commitment to high standards

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
