Personal Advisor

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Bexley to assist with the appointment of a Personal Advisor, on a 12-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay

£15.25 - £19.93 per hour

Summary

Support young people aged 18–25 transitioning from care into independent adulthood. Manage a caseload, providing tailored advice, guidance, and practical support to help care leavers achieve positive outcomes in education, employment, housing, and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of care leavers and deliver high-quality support

Complete assessments of need and develop Pathway Plans

Monitor and review progress against Pathway Plans

Provide 1

1 support, advocacy, and guidance

Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners

Qualifications

Relevant qualification in social care, youth work, or equivalent experience

Essential Requirements

Experience working with young people or vulnerable groups

Strong understanding of safeguarding and multi-agency working

Ability to manage a caseload and meet deadlines

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Knowledge of Pathway Planning or willingness to learn

Flexible to travel (including occasional overnight stays if required)
