About this role

At the Poppy's Family of Nurseries, we're looking for caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioners to join our growing team across Poppy's, Daisy's and Lily's.

As an Early Years Practitioner, you'll play an important role in creating a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment where children can learn, develop and thrive. Working as part of a supportive team, you'll deliver high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), build positive relationships with children and families, and help every child reach their full potential.

Depending on your qualifications and experience, you'll either support or lead learning experiences, act as a Key Person and contribute to planning, observations and assessments while working collaboratively with colleagues to provide exceptional early years education and care.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5 years.

Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.

Act as a Key Person (where appropriate) and support children's learning and development.

Plan and deliver engaging play-based learning experiences in line with the EYFS.

Observe, assess and monitor children's progress.

Promote children's wellbeing, independence and confidence.

Safeguard children and follow all safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies.

Maintain a safe, welcoming and stimulating learning environment.

Work collaboratively as part of a supportive nursery team.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursery and the quality of provision.
