About this role

Please note that the advertised salary for this position is subject to the pending 2026/2027 national pay award. The final salary will be adjusted accordingly once this has been agreed.

This position qualifies for a market supplement payment of £200 per month. Please note this additional payment will be reviewed on 31 March 2027.

The successful candidate may be eligible to up to a maximum of £8,000 (including VAT) towards the cost of expenses incurred due of relocating to Ceredigion. We have opportunities in Ceredigion for a Senior Practitioner to work with older adults, adult with physical disabilities and psychiatry of old age, in the arena of those who require part 3 and 4 SSWBA care and support plans, for both adults and their carers.

The Authority is committed to a strengths-based approach, using Signs of Safety and is in the process of transformation to a through-age and whole family model, which offers greater flexibility to develop plans and services to meet needs and has resulted in some exciting opportunities for collaborative working between departments within the authority, as well as with our partner agencies.

We are seeking individuals with a degree of fluency in the Welsh language. A successful applicant without the required Welsh language skills will be fully supported to reach the desired standard within two years of appointment.
