About Us

Ashmere Nottinghamshire has an opportunity for a full time or part time Senior Care Assistant to join our team. We are a family run company established over 30 years ago. Our three residential homes provide a homely environment for elderly residential residents in Sutton in Ashfield.

All our pet friendly homes are of the highest quality rating. The three homes welcome elderly residential and early stages of dementia. You will be required to work 2 shifts, these are 7.00am – 2.30pm, 2.30pm – 10.00pm (and occasional night cover from 10.00pm to 7.00am). Part time and full time hours available, to be discussed further at interview.

The Job Role

As a senior care assistant you will - support the running of the shift and show warmth and support to our residents and their families - help to promote independence and dignity and positively enhancing the lives of individuals in our care.

Duties include

· Ensure delivery of quality of care

· Develop review and update care plans

· After training, administer medication as prescribed by the service user’s GP.

· Communicate professionally and warmly with visitors and family, and other health care professionals

· Promote high standards of care

· Promote the home in a professional manner
