About this role
Are you an experienced Engineering Team Leader, Supervisor, or Manager looking for your next leadership challenge within a fast-paced FMCG environment? As a Lead Shift Engineer at our Blackpool site, you'll play a pivotal role in leading and developing a team of multi-skilled engineers while helping to ensure the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of one of our largest manufacturing operations.
Working at the heart of a 24/7 production environment, you'll combine hands-on technical expertise with strong people leadership, supporting the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance activities while driving high standards of safety, quality, and engineering excellence. You'll work closely with production leadership teams, engineering colleagues, contractors, and support functions to ensure engineering priorities are aligned to operational demands.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proven engineering leader who enjoys developing people, solving complex technical challenges, and influencing operational performance. You'll join a supportive engineering leadership team where continuous improvement, collaboration, and career development are actively encouraged.
With ongoing investment in our people, technology, and manufacturing facilities, this is a fantastic opportunity to build a long-term leadership career with one of the UK's leading food manufacturers.

• Champion high standards of health & safety, food safety, engineering compliance, and operational best practice.
• Support the development of a proactive engineering culture focused on reliability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
