Pharmacy Assistant Apprenticeship - Biscester

Here's the exciting bit…a great day includes

You will work with the pharmacy team, helping and serving customers, giving appropriate advice on products, ensuring shelves are stocked and the counters is welcoming and attractive.

Duties will include

  • Understanding what the Superdrug Pharmacy customer wants
  • Demonstrating exceptional customer service
  • Understanding the business and maintaining the brand reputation
  • Resolving customer queries
  • Using knowledge to promote products to customers
  • Adhering to all policies and procedures

Your training will take place in store, so no college days and no homework! At the end of your training period you will complete a discussion around your experiences, a multiple - choice test and an observation within your role. You will be supported throughout by your team and your assessor to achieve your Retail level 2 Apprenticeship.

You qualify if ...

You have a grade 4 / C GCSE (or equivalent) in English and maths

You are not currently in any form of education, and you are available for full time shifts

You HAVEN’T completed a Retail Apprenticeship before

You have not completed a degree or more than 1 year at University

You are eligible to work in the UK

You are brand new to retail

Mon-Fri 8.30am-6pm (may include some weekends)

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

Communication skills, Organisation skills

Training to be Provided

Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.

Future Prospects

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.
