Senior Clinical Fellow (ST3-5) in Respiratory Medicine

Review referrals to the service daily in liaison with Consultants. Assist in clinics as necessary, seeing both new and follow-up patients. Attendance at multidisciplinary team meetings. Ward rounds. Continuing professional development. Providing support during periods of absence of Consultants. Maintain good communication with all consultants and the multidisciplinary team. Work with FY1 and FY2 in the treatment of patients admitted, undertake and supervise medical procedures as requested. Ensure good communication with GPs and other agencies such as Palliative Care services. Participation in teaching and training activities for medical and other clinical staff. Teaching of junior medical staff, medical students and nurses will be expected. The Trust encourages proposals for research projects. Any other duties appropriate to the grade.
