Job Description

Support all aspects of care at home systems operation, performance reporting and data management for the service. Responsible for the updating and maintaining of electronic systems, making decisions in relation to the deployment of frontline staff, as well as providing an efficient and effective first point of contact for service users, families and staff. Provide support and formal supervision for System Schedulers, considering all their work related needs as part of the overall service improvement agenda. You will be customer focused and be part of a fast moving, challenging, continually changing environment which ensures that all care at home provision meets the individual needs of service users by maintaining an electronic scheduling system and committing resources as required. Working together with internal and external partners within agreed timescales and standards.

Requirements

The duties of this post requires access to the public sector network and therefore the successful applicant must complete a basic Disclosure Scotland application. A formal offer of employment with East Ayrshire Council will only be made once satisfactory clearance has been received. Responsibilities

We follow the national guidance in relation to pre-employment checks namely “Safer Recruitment Through Better Recruitment”. With regards to requests for references and in line with this guidance, during your application process you should provide details of a minimum of two appropriate and relevant references, one of which should be from your current or most recent employer. It is also a requirement that the reference from your current or most recent employer is from an appropriate senior manager and it is not a reference from a former peer operating at the same level.

The Individual

This is a full time posistion based at the Johnnie Walker Bond, Kilmarnock.

The hours are worked on a shift pattern - Early and back shifts and weekend working to cover from 7.00 am - 10.00 pm, 7 days per week.

Early Shift - Monday to Friday 7.00 am - 3.00 pm

Back Shift - Monday to Friday 2.00 pm - 10.00 pm

One weekend in three

Annual Salary £27,937 - £29,247 plus 12.5% shift allowance.
