Ashlong House Domiciliary Care is looking for a competent Support Worker to support physically or mentally challenged customers in their everyday lives. Responsibilities of Domiciliary Support Workers

Our Support Workers support adults with learning disability & mental health conditions in their own homes

Helping with skills development

Medication in compliance with local guidelines

Assisting with Shopping and Activities

Attending medical appointments

A caring attitude and a willingness to make a difference

A desire to see vulnerable people treated with care and respect

Main Duties of Domiciliary Support Workers

To Support/Care for a set number of Service Users in their own homes.

To record information in documents and service user's files on a daily basis.

To prepare meals and drinks as required and serve meals.

Assist with Personal Care

Provide Emotional Support

Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment

To commit to follow a training programme in accordance with the National Requirements, and accept responsibility for your professional development
