An established and growing steel stockholder is looking to recruit a reliable and professional Class 2 HIAB Driver to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Role

• Nationwide delivery of steel products
• Operating a Class 2 vehicle with HIAB equipment
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and complying with transport regulations
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations
• Occasional overnight stays as required

Working Hours

Monday to Friday

Start times between 4

00am and 6:00am

Average 45 hours per week

⚠️ Candidates must be willing and able to complete at least one night out per week.

Requirements

✅ Category C (Class 2) Licence

✅ HIAB ALLMI Licence with Hook Attachment

✅ Remote HIAB Experience

✅ Digital Tachograph Card

✅ Driver CPC Card

✅ Must be willing to stay out overnight at least once per week

Previous experience is preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided for the right candidate who demonstrates a positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.

Pay & Benefits

£17.00 - £17.25 per hour (depending on experience)

Night-Out Allowance

• £21 for the first night out
• £32 for a second consecutive night out

Bonus Schemes

• Company bonus scheme following successful completion of a 6-month probation period
• Annual safety bonus paid in December
