About this role
The candidate must be Fluent in Punjabi.
The candidate must also understand and be able to complete
Daily Maharaaj Ji (Guru Granth Sahib Ji) Seva, ensuring sanctity, respect, and correct protocol at all times.
Daily Nitnem prayers, including Sukhmani Sahib.
Daily Asa di Vaar hymn singing.
Paath Seva duties as required.
Daily Kirtan and Katha Seva.
Changing Maharaaj Ji bastar at least twice per week.
Delivering Kirtan, Tabla, and Santhia classes at least twice per week.
Maintaining a clean and tidy Darbar Sahib (main prayer hall) and Sachkhand Sahib (residence of the holy scriptures).
Undertaking duties within the Gurdwara Sahib and externally at the instruction of management, including visits to sangat members’ residences or other Gurdwara Sahibs.
Assisting with organising, coordinating, and supporting activities and community‑based initiatives (including capacity‑building support) in a non‑pastoral role.
Participating in the operational functioning of the Gurdwara Sahib in a non‑pastoral role.
Ensuring responsible and non‑abusive use of Sri Guru Singh Sabha utilities, facilities, and equipment by themselves and others.
Maintaining general health and safety awareness and ensuring that all security measures are upheld.
