About this role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and experienced Chef to join our kitchen team. Youll be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, maintaining excellent food safety standards, and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.present dishes to a consistently high standard.

  • Prepare, cook and present dishes to a consistently high standard.
  • Work across all kitchen sections, including fish, grill, starters and desserts.
  • Ensure all seafood and ingredients are handled, stored and prepared correctly.
  • Maintain exceptional food hygiene and comply with HACCP and food safety regulations.
  • Keep your section clean, organised and fully stocked throughout service.
  • Monitor food quality, portion control and minimise waste.
  • Assist with stock rotation, deliveries and inventory management.
  • Support the Head Chef with menu development and daily specials.
  • Work effectively as part of a close-knit kitchen team.
  • Help train and support junior kitchen staff where required.
  • Ensure all equipment is used safely and reported if faulty.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience as a Chef in a busy restaurant.
  • Experience preparing fresh seafood is desirable but full training can be provided for the right candidate.
  • Passion for producing high-quality food.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of food hygiene and allergen awareness.
  • A positive attitude, reliability and excellent teamwork.
