Are you passionate about helping young people achieve their best?
We are seeking to appoint a highly efficient and accurate Admin Assistant with a positive attitude to join our Office Team and provide admin and rotational support for a range of areas within the school.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing general administrative support to the school including front line reception
- Telephone calls, responding to emails and response follow ups
- Using our school based information system Arbor on a daily basis
- Supporting senior leaders, teachers and other staff with administrative tasks.
About You
- Confident, proactive and adaptable
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Well organised
- Able to build positive relationships with students and staff
- Previous experience working in an educational setting would be an advantage but not essential

- To provide general administrative support to the school under the instruction of senior staff and to assist in the efficient running of the school office.
- To be an ambassador for the school when meeting parents and other visitors and to act as first point of reference.
- To contribute to the overall vision and ethos of the school ensuring the best standards possible for students and staff.
- To be aware of and support differences and to ensure equal opportunities for all.

Qualifications
Good standard of education up to GCSE or equivalent - Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
RSA Typing/Word Processing or equivalent
NVQ Business Admin related qualifications or equivalent
Evidence of continuing professional development
Knowledge and Experience
Knowledge and IT experience of Microsoft Office systems and Outlook
Knowledge and experience of IT, including printing, scanning, photocopying and typing
Working in a busy office/educational environment
Knowledge and experience using Arbor
Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information
SkillsandAbilities
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Excellent communication, written and verbal, skills
Excellent admin and organisational skills
Able to prioritise
Can work well as part of a team and on an individual basis
The ability to multi-task in a demanding environment
