As a Class 2 Driver, you'll be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of palletised freight to commercial and residential customers across the South Yorkshire area. Working from planned routes, you'll manage multiple deliveries throughout the day while maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service. Deliveries may involve the use of a tail lift and electric pump truck, making this a varied and rewarding role for drivers who enjoy being out on the road.

Drivers will be expected to complete daily vehicle safety checks, adhere to all driver hours and transport legislation, and ensure that all delivery documentation is completed accurately. Maintaining a professional attitude and representing the company positively at customer sites will also form an important part of the role.

To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence
• Possess a current Digital Tachograph Card
• Have a valid Driver CPC qualification
• Have no more than 6 penalty points on their driving licence

Successful applicants should have held their Class 2 entitlement for at least 12 months and be confident managing multi-drop deliveries within a busy transport environment. Experience delivering palletised freight would be advantageous, although a strong understanding of compliance, road safety, and customer service is equally important.
