Class 1 Drivers Immediate Starts

Want a straightforward Class 1 driving role with no handball, regular weekday work, and an immediate start?

Our client is a family-run logistics business with over 60 years of experience, providing reliable transport solutions for some of the UK's leading brands.

They are now looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their growing team.

You'll be delivering palletised goods to businesses across Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire, with customers unloading the vehicle at each stop. Your role is simply to open the curtains and secure the load afterwards—there's no handballing or manual unloading involved.

Your responsibilities will also include carrying out daily vehicle safety checks, completing delivery paperwork accurately, and following company procedures throughout each shift.

To apply for this role, you must have

A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence

Driver CPC qualification

Valid Digital Tachograph Card

No more than 6 penalty points

To be considered, you must have held your Class 1 licence for at least 12 months and have completed a minimum of 3 months commercial Class 1 driving experience.

This is an ongoing position, with temp-to-perm opportunities available for the right candidates.

This is a Monday to Friday role, with a typical start time of 07:00.

You will be paid £15.00 per hour through PAYE or £20.00 per hour if paid via our umbrella provider.

You can accrue up to 28 days' paid holiday on a pro rata basis.
