HGV Class 2 - Skip Driver

We're currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 HGV Skip Driver to join a well-established waste management operation based in the South Lincoln area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for weekday work. You'll be responsible for the safe delivery, exchange, and collection of skips across domestic, commercial, and construction sites while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a Class 2 skip vehicle to deliver, exchange, and collect skips.

• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects.

• Positioning skips safely and accurately at customer premises.

• Ensuring all collections and deliveries are completed efficiently and in line with scheduled routes.

• Completing all relevant paperwork and electronic records accurately.

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.

• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.

• Previous skip driving experience is preferred, although applicants with relevant HGV experience may also be considered.

• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and working time regulations.

• A positive attitude with excellent customer service skills.

• A strong commitment to safety and compliance.

Adhoc ongoing work

• Monday to Friday

• 6:00am start time

• Average 8-10 hour shifts

• No regular weekend work

Starting wage £15 p/h basic

Overtime paid at time and a half

Weekly Pay

28 days annual leave pro-rata
