Are you an organised and proactive administrator looking for your next opportunity in transport and logistics?
We're recruiting for a Transport Administrator to join a busy and fast-paced transport operation in Stanford-le-Hope. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive team where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of daily transport operations.

The Role
As a Transport Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the transport team with a range of administrative and operational tasks, ensuring drivers, warehouse teams and internal departments work together efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct driver pre-briefs before the start of each shift
- Complete driver de-briefs and collect all relevant documentation
- Scan, file and maintain accurate transport paperwork
- Liaise with warehouse teams to ensure vehicles are loaded on schedule
- Provide administrative support to the Transport Office
- Support the Shift First Line Manager (FLM) with day-to-day operations
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls professionally
- Communicate with internal departments, including off-site Customer Service teams
- Ensure transport documentation is completed accurately and in line with company procedures
- Help maintain an efficient and compliant transport operation
What We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who is
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicating with drivers, warehouse teams and colleagues
- Able to prioritise workloads and work effectively under pressure
- Proactive, reliable and able to use their own initiative
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and computer-based systems
- Previous administration, transport or logistics experience is desirable, but not essential
