At Chester Day Service, we support disabled adults across Chester, giving them the opportunties to do the things they love - including arts and crafts, cookery and IT lessons, gardening, swimming, or even just popping over to the local cafe for a catch up with friends! We also enjoy visiting the local attractions, admiring all the beautiful art exhibited at Chester Cathedral, or learning more about all the fascinating animals at Chester Zoo.

About The Role

As a Support Worker, you will be at the forefront of providing high-quality, enabling care. Every day brings new challenges and rewards, making this a truly fulfilling role. You'll be key in helping us achieve our goal of being the best in the field.

The working pattern for this role is 9:30am - 16:30pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday each week.

Key Responsibilities

Individual Outcome and Wellbeing

Implement person-centered support plans, promote independence, manage risks, encourage relationships, and ensure legal and best practice compliance.

Develop flexible, engaging activity plans that promote autonomy and personal growth.

Support individuals in maintaining healthy lifestyles and managing their health needs.

Communication

Facilitate effective communication and maintain detailed, person-centered records.

Medication Management

Oversee medication processes and support individuals in self-administration.

Maintain a safe, clean-living environment and adhere to health and safety protocols.
