Exchange People are recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver / Site Operative for a busy chemical manufacturing site in Speke, Liverpool. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role paying £17.54 per hour, with a temporary-to-permanent opportunity available.

What we’re looking for

• Valid FLT Counterbalance licence.
• Experience in production, manufacturing, warehouse, chemical or industrial environments.
• Good safety awareness, ideally including COSHH, SDS or COMAH standards.

Main Duties

• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely around site.
• Support blending, mixing, liquid transfers and chemical handling tasks.
• Follow COSHH, COMAH, PPE and site safety procedures.
• Keep work areas clean, organised and hazard-free.
• Report accidents, near misses, spills, hazards or equipment faults promptly.
