About this role
A superb country hotel is looking for a talented Sous Chef to join its kitchen team, working closely with the Head Chef and Executive Chef.
This is a strong opportunity for a Sous Chef who wants to keep developing, take on more responsibility, and be part of a small but growing hotel group.
For the right person, there is genuine potential to progress into a Head Chef role as the group expands over the next couple of years.
The hotel offers a range of dining experiences, from a brasserie-style restaurant to exclusive private outdoor dining, giving you the chance to broaden your skills and work across varied menus and service styles.
We are looking for a friendly, capable chef who enjoys cooking, stays organised under pressure, communicates well, and takes pride in helping train, motivate, and support the team.
Applicants ideally should live in the Ashbourne, Cheadle, Leek, Matlock, Belper, Uttoxeter, or Derby area with their own transport.
