Slinger Banksman (London) – 1 Month Contract

Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Slinger Banksman to join our team for a 1-month project in London. Responsibilities As a Slinger Banksman, your primary responsibilities will include

• Assisting with all lifting requirements on-site, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Directing crane operators and other lifting equipment to ensure safe and precise movement of loads.
• Conducting pre-use checks of lifting equipment and reporting any defects or issues.
• Communicating effectively with the site team to coordinate lifting operations.
• Maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to all health and safety protocols.

Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria

• Hold a valid CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) card for Slinger/Signaller.
• Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of lifting operations and safety procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive and safety-conscious approach to all tasks.

Day-to-Day

Your daily activities will include

• Collaborating with crane operators and site supervisors to plan and execute lifting operations.
• Ensuring all lifting activities are carried out safely and in accordance with site regulations.
• Monitoring and guiding the movement of loads to prevent accidents or damage.
• Conducting routine checks on lifting equipment and reporting any issues promptly.
• Supporting the site team with additional tasks as required to ensure smooth operations.
