About this role

Job Purpose To support the Multiprofessional Practice Education Team (MPET) by providing comprehensive, high quality, accurate and timely administrative support; contributing towards the effectiveness and efficiency of multi professional education and providing learners of all clinical professionals (medical and non-medical) with a high-quality learning environment across the Trust. Main Duties & Responsibilities To provide administrative support across all workstreams supported by the MPET. To deal efficiently and effectively with email and telephone enquiries received by the MPE Team in a professional, efficient and timely manner, escalating queries where appropriate. Monitor MPET inboxes, ensuring enquiries are recorded, prioritised and responded to or redirected appropriately. Maintain, update and ensure the accuracy of MPET databases, electronic records and shared folders in line with Trust information governance requirements. Support the administration of Study Leave processes, including collating applications and preparing documentation for Study Leave Panel meetings. To issue and distribute agendas, take minutes / update actions logs and distribute meeting documents afterwards for meetings being chaired by the MPET. Provide administrative support to meetings chaired by MPET, including preparing and distributing agendas and papers, taking accurate minutes, maintaining action logs and tracking progress, circulating documentation following meetings. To maintain and update the MPET sections on the staff intranet, padlets and learner app to ensure that the information provided is accessible, accurate and up to date. Support the coordination of learner and student feedback processes by issuing evaluation requests, collating responses and producing reports for review. Administer training and education activity delivered by MPET (such as Practice Assessor / Educator training, care certificate, clinical skills, learner inductions). Managing bookings and attendance records, preparing course materials and registration documentation, issuing certificates, updating Electronic Staff Record (ESR) systems where required Provide administration for meetings and event arrangements including venue hire, taking bookings, provision of equipment/resources, pre-event material, travel and parking arrangements. If appropriate you may be required to attend in person training events to provide administrative support. Communication To communicate in a clear, honest and respectful manner at all times. To contribute to the teams communication by co-ordinating and distributing information through various channels in an accurate and timely manner. People Management Maintaining own personal and professional development and taking part in annual appraisal, KSF process and one to one supervision. Undertake mandatory and statutory as required by Trust policy. Infection Control The trust staff are responsible for protecting themselves and others against infection risks. All staff regardless of whether clinical or not are expected to comply with current infection control policies and procedures and to report any problems about this to their managers. All staff undertaking patient care activities must attend infection control training and updates as required by the trust. All clinical staff or any staff working in clinical areas are expected to be bare below the elbow with no hand or wrist jewellery except for one plain band (no stones or engraving) Health and Safety Employees must be aware of the responsibilities placed upon them under the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974), to ensure the agreed safety procedures are carried out to maintain a safe environment for employees and visitors. To ensure that the trusts Health and Safety Policies are understood and observed and that procedures are followed. To ensure the appropriate use of equipment and facilities and the environment is maintained in good order. To take the necessary precautions to safeguard the welfare and safety of themselves, patients, staff and visitors, in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act. To undertake appropriate Health and Safety training to support safe working practice including, where appropriate, its management.
