Cover People are recruiting on behalf of an ambitious secondary school in Rochdale for a dedicated Teacher of Mathematics to join their team from September 2026. Applications are welcomed from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers who are passionate about delivering exceptional mathematics education and inspiring young people to achieve their full potential.

About the Role
- Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with Key Stage 5 opportunities available for suitable candidates
- Plan and deliver challenging, engaging lessons that inspire a love of mathematics
- Create a calm and purposeful classroom environment where every student can thrive
- Monitor progress through effective assessment and targeted intervention
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to continually enhance the Mathematics curriculum
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities and extracurricular opportunities
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or due to achieve QTS by September 2026
- A degree in Mathematics or a related subject
- Passionate about helping young people develop confidence in mathematics
- Able to teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Committed to continuous professional development and achieving excellent outcomes for students
