What you will do

Recovery-Focused Interventions
Deliver evidence-based, time-limited treatments and psychological interventions to support recovery.

Clinical Assessment
Undertake comprehensive mental health assessments and develop personalised care plans.
•
Care Coordination
Work collaboratively with service users and carers to promote self-management and positive recovery outcomes.

Professional Advice
Provide specialist guidance and support to GPs, service users, carers, and partner agencies.
•
Multi-Agency Working
Liaise with statutory, voluntary, and independent sector organisations to coordinate effective support.

Family Involvement
Work closely with families and carers, ensuring appropriate consent and service user involvement at all times.
•
Risk Management
Assess, monitor, and manage risks while ensuring safe and effective interventions.
•
Recovery Planning
Support individuals in developing resilience, coping strategies, and self-management techniques.

Record Keeping
Maintain accurate, timely, and professional clinical records in line with organisational policies and NMC standards.
Qualifications / Requirements
•
Professional Registration
Current NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
•
Experience
Previous experience working within Community Mental Health Services or Secondary Mental Health Services.

Assessment Skills
Strong experience undertaking mental health assessments, care planning, and risk management.
•
Communication Skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with service users, families, and professionals.
•
Recovery-Focused Practice
Understanding of recovery models and person-centred approaches within mental health services.

Driving Licence
