What you will do

  • Support families throughout the recovery journey by providing tailored advice, guidance, and practical support.
  • Complete assessments and develop person-centred recovery and support plans.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies to deliver coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential records of interventions and client progress.
  • Engage with community resources and services to strengthen support networks for individuals and families.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Relevant qualification in Social Work, Health and Social Care, Substance Misuse, Counselling, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience working within drug and alcohol, substance misuse, family support, or recovery services.
  • Strong assessment, case management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, recovery-focused practice, and relevant legislation.
