About the Role – Deputy Nursing Home Manager / Clinical Deputy
As a Deputy Nursing Home Manager, you will support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of a successful nursing home while leading on clinical excellence and compliance.
Key responsibilities include
Supporting the Home Manager as a Deputy Nursing Home Manager to maintain high standards of care and compliance
Acting as a Clinical Deputy Manager with responsibility for clinical governance and care quality
Leading shifts, supervising staff, and ensuring safe, effective care delivery as a Deputy Care Home Manager
Supporting audits, inspections, and continuous improvement as a Deputy Nursing Home Manager
Promoting best practice, safeguarding, and person-centred care
Assisting with staff development, training, and performance management
Deputising for the Home Manager when required
About You – Deputy Nursing Home Manager
To be successful in this Deputy Nursing Home Manager role, you must
Be a qualified Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid NMC pin
Have proven experience as a Deputy Nursing Home Manager within a nursing home setting
Demonstrate strong clinical knowledge and leadership as a Clinical Deputy Manager
Have a solid understanding of CQC standards and compliance
Be confident, organised, and passionate about delivering high-quality care
Have experience supporting audits, inspections, and team management
