The Role

Assessment & Intervention

Working under the guidance of a Registered Psychologist, you will provide essential psychological support to our patients.

Your key responsibilities will include

Assessment & Formulation

Conducting comprehensive psychological and risk assessments to help patients and the MDT "make sense" of complex difficulties.

Targeted Interventions

Delivering low-to-medium intensity individual and group interventions in line with our Talking Therapies pathways.

Clinical Prioritisation

Identifying and triaging patients who will benefit most from psychological support based on clinical need and risk.

Progress Monitoring

Using evidence-based measures to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and ensure high standards of care.

What You’ll Bring

Education

A BSc in Psychology (GBC/BPS eligible) or an MSc in Forensic/Health Psychology.

Clinical Foundation

Evidence of training in evidence-based frameworks such as CBT, DBT, CFT, or ACT.

Experience

Previous experience working within forensic or secure environments is essential.
