Health Care Assistant

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Working in line with

the policies, code of conduct and procures of Metro Homecare. Assistance with tasks of daily living

that people who use our services cannot manage

alone. These may include cleaning, toileting, personal

hygiene such as washing, dressing, shopping, collection

of pensions, paying of bills and laundry. Contributing

to the movement and handling of people who use

our services to maximise their physical abilities and

mobility. Assisting in the preparation and making of

nutritious meals, drinks and snacks where required.

Providing social support, such as talking and listening

to clients, helping them maintain contact with family

and friends Promoting effective communication and

relationships Administer medication where required/

necessary Recording all actions and information within

the home in a clear, legible and professional manner
