Job Description
Are you an experienced Healthcare Assistant with a natural talent for leadership? We are seeking a dedicated Senior HCA / Team Leader to join our care team in Lewes. This is a vital role designed for a professional who takes pride in maintaining high standards of care while mentoring and supervising a team of support staff.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
Supervise, mentor, and lead a team of HCAs to ensure the delivery of person-centered care.
Care Planning
Manage and update digital care plans using the Nourish platform.
Quality Assurance
Monitor care standards and ensure compliance with CQC regulations and internal policies.
Medication Management
Oversee safe medication administration and recording.
Communication
Act as a key point of contact for residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
Shift Management
Coordinate daily tasks and staffing to ensure the smooth operation of the unit.
Requirements
Experience
Proven track record of leading teams in a residential or nursing care setting (Essential).
Technical Skills
Proficiency in using digital care planning tools, specifically Nourish (Highly Desirable).
Right to Work
Applicants must have the permanent right to work in the UK.

Qualifications
Level 3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care (or working towards it).
