For this post we require you to hold English GCSE at Grade 4/C or above. We will enrol you on a Level 3 Childcare training course which should be completed in 12 months and alongside this your working hours will be 32.5hours per week to enable you to have time away from work to complete your training

You should be able to support the Nursery Practitioners by creating a stimulating and exciting environment in your room.

Duties

The role will involve assisting in delivering learning opportunities that meet children's individual needs, in a safe and stimulating environment; assisting the team to plan, prepare and review activities; working in partnership with our parents, and implementing all the policies and procedures set out by the nursery (please request a full job description for more detailed information).

You will be enrolled on a level 3 childcare training programme using our training provider. Ideally we require applicants to hold grade C or 4 and above (pass rate) in their GCSE (or equivalent) maths and english as this will be required to be able to enrol on the level 3 childcare training programme. We will provide high levels of support including mentoring and observation assessments with the training provider. Paediatric first aid and Safeguarding training will be given as part of the training programme.
