The Role

We are looking for a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Deputy Manager who is passionate about early years education and wants to feel valued, supported and excited about coming to work.

You’ll be part of a friendly, experienced team in a well-resourced nursery with strong staffing levels and excellent support.

Key Responsibilities

Ensuring all children under our care feel engaged and supported

Supporting the team within the setting

Maintaining the highest standards when implementing safeguarding

Ensuring the EYFS is implemented and applied to all learning

To ensure our children have fun and a stimulating environment

Promoting and upholding Health & Safety for children, staff and visitors

Ensuring SEND is implemented, promoted and applied

Making sure that company policies and procedures are consistently applied and adhered to

Working alongside the Nursery Manager and over taking any managerial duties needed such as opening and closing, show arounds, employee interviews and more

Working Hours

40 hours per week

4 or 5 days per week

Shifts between 7

30am – 6:30pm

No weekends

Requirements

Full & relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)

Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting

A genuine passion for childcare and child development

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Right to work in the UK
