Responsibilities of our
Community Operations Development Manager
Shape and deliver development workstreams within Community Operations, as well as playing a critical role in the delivering of organisational change into business as usual, within Cats Protection’s Community Operations Directorate
Ensure that strategic and operational projects are implemented in a way that is consistent, collaborative, and compassionate
Accountable for the development, coordination, and successful delivery of projects and programmes arising from both within Cat Welfare & Operations, and from the organisational change portfolio, ensuring Community Operation’s alignment to the charity’s strategy and values.
About the Community Operations team
Community Operations is responsible for the delivery of all of Cats Protection’s cat facing services
It conducts these services through 31 Cat Centres and over 205 Branches and Community Volunteer Teams
Community Operations helped over 191k cats in 2024.
The team consists of up to 450 employees and 8,000 volunteers.
What we’re looking for in our
Community Operations Development Manager
Experience in managing operational change within a large or geographically dispersed organisation
Strong understanding of project and programme management
Skilled communicator with the ability to present complex information clearly and compassionately
An understanding of the voluntary and/or charity sector, or experience working within the sector
Knowledge of human behaviour change theory
Strong working knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft 365, alongside a proactive approach to identifying digital and AI-enabled opportunities to improve efficiency and working practices.
