We have an exciting opportunity at our secondary school site in Maidenhead for a Catering Assistant to join the team at Accent.

This is a permanent contract

25 hours per week - 10am to 3pm Monday to Friday, term-time only

busy school setting, where you’ll help with preparing food, serving customers, making drinks, and keeping the kitchen clean and

organised. This is a hands-on role that requires working quickly, providing friendly service, and supporting the team to keep

everything running smoothly.

What you will be doing

-

* carrying out general kitchen duties

* Use of Barista Machine

* putting away deliveries

* food preparation

* serving, cleaning and washing up

* assisting with inventory management

* maintaining high standards of presentation of food and replenishing counters keeping them looking attractive throughout the

service time

* speaking to each customer in a friendly, helpful and professional manner

* undertaking all basic training and work effectively with colleagues as part of a team

This is a customer facing position so in addition to the above you will also need good communication skills and be able to

demonstrate a clear understanding of the English language.

Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
