Housekeeping Supervisor

We're looking for an experienced and organised Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team on a full-time basis. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of room attendants and public area staff, ensuring that rooms and communal spaces consistently meet brand and quality standards. This is a leadership role that requires confidence, attention to detail, and the ability to motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing

Supervising and directing the housekeeping team on shift, including room attendants and public area cleaners

Allocating and checking daily room assignments, ensuring deadlines are met and standards upheld

Inspecting serviced bedrooms and public areas to confirm they meet required cleanliness and presentation standards

Supporting onboarding, training, and ongoing development of housekeeping team members

Managing linen and amenity stock levels, ordering supplies as required

Liaising with the front desk and maintenance teams to coordinate room readiness and fault reporting

Handling guest feedback relating to housekeeping and addressing issues swiftly

Assisting with COSHH compliance, safe chemical handling, and housekeeping health & safety documentation

Supporting the Head Housekeeper or Rooms Division Manager with scheduling and administrative tasks

What we're looking for

Proven experience in a hotel housekeeping supervisory role

Strong knowledge of room cleaning standards, inspection processes, and linen management

Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and hold a team to account

Excellent attention to detail and high personal standards

Knowledge of COSHH regulations and safe chemical handling

Good written and verbal communication skills

Confident using hotel operations systems

Flexibility to work across a 5-day week including weekends and bank holidays

What we offer

40-hour contract, 5 days per week

£13.00 – £13.50 per hour depending on experience
