Role Accountabilities Patient Care Make appropriate clinical decisions on presenting problems within the scope of competence, seeking advice and support from a mentor or senior colleagues when required. Assess health needs of patients with undifferentiated or undiagnosed conditions under supervision when necessary. Provide screening, diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care in line with current protocols. Develop individualised care plans in consultation with patients, aligned with best practice and guidance. Maintain clear, accurate, and contemporaneous medical records. Professional Standards Undertake all duties expected of a GP in primary care, in accordance with regulatory and standard-setting organisations. Deliver evidence-based, patient-centred, and equitable care. Ensure safe prescribing and responsible use of resources. Clinical Leadership & Quality Contribute to quality improvement activities, audits, and learning from significant events. Support development and implementation of evidence-based guidelines. Advocate for patients and help reduce health inequalities.
