About this role
The Radiotherapy Physics Group provides a specialist clinical scientific service to the Radiotherapy Department at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The Radiotherapy service treats ~4000 patients/year across our three sites (Oxford, Swindon and Milton Keynes), housing eight linacs, four CTs and HDR brachytherapy. We offer a comprehensive range of treatment including SABR & SRS.
This role is primarily to provide leadership of scientific and systems computing (~0.6WTE) in Radiotherapy Physics, including in-house automation and other development projects. The postholder will also provide other clinical and managerial duties (~0.4WTE) in Radiotherapy Physics.
