About this role
1. To develop and deliver high standards of specialised care by contributing to the development of practice to ensure that pain patients and carers have a quality experience, and to reduce risk and increase safety for staff and patients. 2. Liaise with Clinical Practice Educators, Ward Managers, Clinical Nurse Leaders and other members of the multi-disciplinary team to develop and support the professional development of staff caring for patients with pain. 3. Liaise with the Lead Nurse Pain Services and Divisional Chief Nurse GS-ACT to contribute to clinical governance within the Trust in pain via best practice development initiatives. 4. Liaise with the Lead Nurse and other members of the team to contribute to practice development and improving the fundamentals of care within the Trust in pain. 5. To be professionally responsible and accountable ensuring care is delivered in accordance with the NMC code of professional conduct, the Trusts vision, strategic objectives and values
