We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Teacher to join a supportive and well-resourced specialist setting in Ashford, Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator looking to secure a rewarding SEND teaching role from September.
This position is well suited to a committed SEND Teacher who is confident delivering high-quality, differentiated teaching to pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and complex learning difficulties.

- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Use effective positive behaviour support strategies
- Work collaboratively with SENCOs, support staff, therapists, and parents/carers
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Proven experience as a SEND Teacher, SEN Teacher, or in a specialist setting
- Strong understanding of EHCPs, SEND frameworks, and differentiated planning
- Experience supporting pupils with ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and complex needs
- Strong behaviour management and adaptive teaching skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Right to work in the UK
- A patient, resilient, and flexible approach
- Passionate about SEND and inclusive education
- Experienced in specialist schools, PRUs, or alternative provision
- Confident supporting pupils with challenging behaviours and additional needs
- Skilled in delivering personalised, EHCP-focused learning
- Committed to improving outcomes for vulnerable learners
