Site Manager (Part-Time, 3 hours per day, 5 days per week, All year round working)

Weston Green School is seeking a proactive, reliable, and skilled Site Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day management, maintenance, and security of our school premises. This is a key role in ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Oversee the general maintenance, repair, and upkeep of school buildings and grounds
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including regular checks and risk assessments
Work closely with the School Business Manager
Manage site security, including opening the premises
Carry out minor repairs, decorating, and routine maintenance tasks
Monitor and maintain heating, lighting, and other essential systems
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and compliance such as fire safety and water test checks
Weekly checks of the school minibuses
Support school events and activities with site setup as required
Maintain cleanliness standards across the outdoor site

We are looking for someone who
Previous experience in a site management, facilities, or maintenance role (school experience desirable)
Have knowledge and skills in areas such as COSHH, Fire safety and regulations, Water management - Legionella, Health & Safety at work, Manual handling and Working at height
Practical skills in basic plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs
Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
A proactive and flexible approach to work
Good communication skills and ability to work independently
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
