temporary ongoing ( possibly permanent for the right candidate)
Duties
Driving set route to planned schedules at controlled speeds,
Vehicle checks and adherence to health and safety and highways regulations,
Assisting with taking measurements and images of defects,
Many be required to undertake light maintenance tasks and temporary repairs.
Experience
Must have a full driver’s licence and a good knowledge of the Island road network,
Must be able to work well as part of a small team and be able to undertake light manual handling tasks,
This role has the potential to progress to a full time Highways Inspection role for the right candidate, therefore previous highways experience is an advantage, as is a good level of computer literacy and the ability to learn new skills.
Salary
£12.71 per hour plus, dependent upon experience
