About this role
Pallant House Gallery is seeking an experienced records management professional for a 12-month fixed-term contract (0.6FTE).
The postholder will to contribute to the ongoing development and increased accessibility of our Library and Archive, which comprises over 20,000 books, exhibition catalogues and other source material relating to British art, artists and collectors, and the Gallery's own history, architecture and exhibition programme.
Working within the Curatorial team, the Project Archivist will plan and undertake the cataloguing and digitisation of archival material to ISAD(G) standards, and advise on its storage and long-term care. This fixed-term project will focus on three key archives: the Hans Feibusch Studio archive, the Clare Neilson collection and the George and Ann Dannatt collection.
