An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon (New Graduate or Early Career) to join a progressive, multi-site small animal practice in the Kent / East Sussex area.

This role offers the ideal balance of consults and surgery within a highly supportive, experienced team. Whether you’re a recent graduate or looking to further develop your clinical confidence, this position is designed to help you grow and thrive.

You’ll be based within a well-equipped

RCVS-accredited hospital offering

Modern surgical suites

Dental radiography

Digital X-ray

Ultrasound

In-house laboratory and blood analysis

ECG and endoscopy

Doppler ultrasonography

Laparoscopic equipment

Video endoscope and bronchoscope

The wider group spans six sites across the region, each offering strong clinical standards and collaborative support. Emergency and overnight inpatient care is provided onsite by a dedicated out-of-hours provider, ensuring excellent case continuity and support.

You’ll work alongside an experienced team of Veterinary Surgeons and Registered Veterinary Nurses, with clinical interests including surgery, anaesthesia, imaging, dermatology, and dentistry.

The Role

Up to £42,000 DOE

Hours

40 hours per week

4 days per week

1 in 5 Saturdays

Shift patterns between 8

00am and 7:30pm

You will manage a varied caseload including both consults and surgical shifts, with opportunities to fully work up cases and develop your clinical expertise. Sole charge experience will be required at times, with appropriate support available.

RCVS-Registered Veterinary Surgeon

Experience in both consults and routine surgery

Confident with occasional sole charge

Strong team player

Passionate about delivering outstanding patient and client care

Proactive and collaborative approach
