HGV Class 1 (C+E) & Class 2 (LGV C) Drivers
Location
Reading
We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) and HGV Class 2 (LGV C) Drivers for a well-established and reputable client based in Reading.

Class 1 (C+
E)

Days
£16.60 per hour
•
Nights
£18.00 per hour
Class 2 (LGV C)
•
Days
£14.55 per hour
•
Nights
£16.50 per hour
Shift Patterns
- Day and night shifts available
- Typically 5 shifts per week
- Rotas may include weekends
Role Overview
Class 1 (C+
E)
- Completing 2–3 ‘wave’ runs per shift
Class 2 (LGV C)
- Delivering parcels to Delivery Units
General Responsibilities
- Ensuring safe and efficient operation of vehicles
- Completing all relevant paperwork accurately and on time
- Adhering to all driving and safety regulations
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 6 months’ HGV driving experience (relevant to licence class)
•
Valid HGV licence
o Class 1 (Category C+E) or
o Class 2 (Category C)
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- No more than 6 points for minor endorsements
- Willingness to complete an onsite assessment
