An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and organised individual to join the Pathology team as Pathology Quality and Safety Officer. Milton Keynes University Hospital is accredited to

ISO 15189

2022.

The post holder will play a key role in supporting the delivery of a high quality, safe, and compliant pathology service, ensuring compliance with

ISO 15189

2022 and wider regulatory frameworks. The post holder will collaborate with Blood Sciences, Microbiology, Cellular Pathology, Point of Care Testing and the Mortuary.

Working closely with the Pathology Quality Manager and broader laboratory management team, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS), support audit and governance processes, training and quality improvement initiatives across all pathology disciplines.
