About the role

Our new service Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) Hampshire will launch on 01 July 2026. This service will be delivered across Hampshire and Southampton.

We are looking for a 3 Practitioners to deliver high-quality, person-centred Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) groups for people living with mild to moderate dementia. We

You will supervise some volunteers as part of this role.

You will co-facilitate 14-week closed CST programmes, support referral triage and onboarding, record outcomes, and work in close partnership with carers, Memory Assessment Services (MAS), Older People’s Community Mental Health Teams (OPCMHTs) and other referrers.

Please note you might be required to work on some Saturdays depending on the service need.

About you

As a CST Practitioner, you will have experience supporting people living with dementia and/or older adults with cognitive impairment in a community, health, or social care setting.

You will have a good understanding of adult safeguarding and the ability to recognise, respond to and appropriately escalate concerns.

You will demonstrate skills in group facilitation and in engaging individuals with varying communication needs. You will also have strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a range of stakeholders.

You will be able to manage challenging situations calmly, work independently, and collaborate effectively as part of a team.

You will maintain accurate records and confidently use IT systems and CRM tools for case management and reporting
