This role is office-based; however, it also offers some agile or remote working.
We are looking for an Assistant Pension Administration Manager to work for the Isle of Wight Council Pension Fund. We have a small but highly enthusiastic and supportive team, committed to excellent service standards and continuous improvement.
You will play an important role in upholding the integrity of the scheme and ensuring a responsive, customer focused approach for all LGPS stakeholders.
You will
have experience of work involving the Local Government Pension Scheme
have an ability to understand regulations applying to the Local Government Pension Scheme and related matters
good inter-personal skills and ideally have experience of managing staff
possess a sound knowledge of office procedures and IT skills and their importance to the overall efficiency of the team
have the ability to manage and prioritise your own workload
be able to carry out calculations quickly and with a very high degree of accuracy
